AI Fellows applications are due October 5 for faculty and students
Georgetown's current program pages set an October 5 proposal deadline and say selections will be announced by October 12.
Confirmed facts
Georgetown’s AI Fellows pilot pairs faculty with AI-fluent undergraduate and graduate students to explore how AI may support or complicate teaching and learning in individual courses. Full-time faculty and full-time undergraduate and graduate students may apply under the relevant program guidance.
The faculty call and student call now list October 5, 2026, as the proposal deadline. Georgetown says selections will be announced by October 12. Each student Fellow may receive up to $2,500 across the fall and spring semesters, paid hourly.
Why Hoyas.ai is following it
The pilot offers a concrete participation pathway and may generate course-level experience relevant to the university’s broader AI discussions. That potential is an editorial interpretation, not an announced program outcome.
Source note
The September 3 university announcement gave an earlier deadline. The current program and role-specific call pages provide the operative dates. Applicants should confirm eligibility, timing, and application instructions directly with Georgetown. Hoyas.ai is independent and does not administer the program.
